I provide Snake Boss reptile incursions across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, designed specifically for children aged 2 to 12 years. My sessions focus strongly on sensory learning, confidence building and hands-on discovery — all delivered in a warm, structured and interactive way.

A Sensory Wildlife Experience for Young Learners
We all know children learn best when they can experience something with their whole body — not just by listening.
During each reptile incursion, I encourage children to:
- Observe colours, patterns and textures
- Notice movement and behaviour
- Listen to fun and interesting reptile facts
- Interact by answering simple questions
- Gently touch and, if comfortable, hold a snake
For younger children (ages 2–5), I focus heavily on sensory exploration and simple, engaging language. We talk about how scales feel, how reptiles move and where they live. There’s plenty of repetition, strong visual engagement and calm reassurance.
For older children (ages 6–12), I expand the session to include deeper discussion about habitats, survival, adaptations and environmental responsibility — while keeping it interactive and engaging.
I gently adapt each presentation to suit the age group in front of me, ensuring the content feels relevant, developmentally appropriate and meaningful.

When working with children as young as two, safety and tone are everything.
All my reptiles are calm, well cared for and accustomed to presenting in childcare and school environments. Handling is always closely supervised, and participation is completely optional — children are never pressured to touch an animal.
For some children, simply sitting close and observing is a huge step. For others, confidently holding a python becomes the highlight of their year.
I support each child at their own comfort level.
Directors can feel confident knowing I hold all required Queensland permits, blue card and insurance, and I deliver each session professionally and responsibly within your centre’s policies and procedures.

Many children initially feel unsure about snakes. Through calm explanation, positive language and gradual exposure, fear often turns into curiosity.
